Why do I need a functional wellness practitioner?

A functional wellness practitioner can order & analyze lab tests and guide you through a protocol to help you get back in balance. There are no quick fixes for humans, but some course corrections are both simple and effective. We ask a lot of questions, look to the lab data and then show you a path to physical and mental wellbeing that has real value.

What IS a functional wellness practitioner?

A functional wellness practitioner/FDNP is extensiverly trained in analyzing functional lab tests, such as the GI Map or the Salivary Hormone Panel, and what to do with those results to help you achieve your health & wellness goals. This can include diet & nutrition, exercise, supplementation, weight loss, stress-relief, meditation, productivity, and everything in between. A functional wellness practioner is a certified, trained, experienced professional but not a doctor or therapist. They cannot replace proper medical advice. However, they can be a great supplement to your care. A good coach can help you establish a health plan for your goals, and help you follow this plan with accountability.

Zoom. Of course we’ll share written plans and discussions via Biocanic software, email, text as needed. Either way you get great counsel and an actionable plan we work through together.
